St. John’s Universal School has been selected by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Government of India, for establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL). 1500 schools from all across the country have been given this unique opportunity to establish this lab with world class equipment.

Government of India has initiated this endeavor to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc,

Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). ATL would contain educational and learning ‘do it yourself’ kits and equipment on –Science,  Electronics,  Robotics, Open Source Microcontroller Boards, Sensors, 3D printers and Computers.

Through this lab, students will receive endless exposure to hone their scientific skills and aptitude providing stimulus to innovate, ideate and create for a better tomorrow. Keeping up with the mission of Universal Education, we always strive to do everything in our power to create an educational system that maximizes potential, encourages the use of technology and extends out of the textbook and into real life.
